Maman New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation Wellness Morning

Nine women a day are diagnosed with breast cancer in New Zealand. That's over 3,500 every year.

As a foundation dear to our hearts, this year Maman aligned with the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF) to bring you an inaugural morning of fundraising in support of early detection and treatment to help prevent breast cancer from spreading.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday 3rd August for a morning at Spiga in Remuera hosted by Emma-Jane John of Sisterhood of Style and our incredible guest speaker Bridget Snelling, Country Manager of XERO New Zealand, wife, mother, Maman woman and breast cancer survivor.

Our wonderful local Remuera community came together to donate products, services and vouchers for our Wellness Raffle with all proceeds from the raffle going to the NZBCF.

In addition to the Wellness raffle, we were proud to collaborate with International brand Clare V to produce a limited edition Maman x Clare V Breast Cancer bracelet. Not only was this available for purchase at the event, but is available now to purchase online with all profits from the sale of these bracelets going to the NZBCF.

The event was overwhelmingly well received by our Maman community and together we achieved our fundraising goal of $10,000 for the morning.

Together we have helped fund breast cancer education; innovative projects by some of our country's top researchers; and support patients and their families as they navigate through their breast cancer journeys. We hope you know how much this means to Maman and our community but especially what it means for the 3,500 Kiwis who are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

Our fundraising page remains open on the NZBCF website and if you would like to make a direct donation, you can do so at any time by clicking the link below.
